The last couple of weeks have been very busy, all my young musicians performed so well a Feis Atha Cliath, bringing home a truck load of Gold, Silver and Bronze, mostly Gold. They took solo instruments, duet and trio, so gold for pipes, box, fiddle, flute, whistle. So proud of them all.
Some of the children performed in school, Conor Flannery played beautifully a fiddle duet with me, Mo Ghile Mear, and Sean Byrne played Spancil Hill as a whistle solo.
We had our Paddy Party also, that was great fun with a competition for Greenest Cailin and Greenest Buachaill.
All our young people had a great time, and the parents sent over a load of sweets, cakes, crisps etc for the night. Us grown ups even had a glass of wine.
